After a dental appointment, I was making my way to work via an underground shopping concourse. In one store, I saw a woman brushing a mannequin's wig with care, and couldn't help but think that has to be one of the largest dolls a person could reasonably have.

Seeing in four dimensions

Dimensions (More videos, a Trailer and the actual 2 hour movie).

Basically they wanted to know what 4 dimensional objects would look like even though we can only see in 3, so they did some math and graphing as to what a 3 dimensional object would look like to a person that can only see in 2, and then did the same with their 4 dimensional math. I can't follow the math but the objects are pretty.

It feels really good to have people falling over their feet to hire you.

I'm sad and I don't want to be alone all night. Doug works tonight through Saturday night so no one will be here with me. Is there anyone that would consider coming to watch a movie or something. Anything really. I just don't want to be alone.

So less than a block from our building, Steven and I were walking to Metrotown to celebrate our 8-year anniversary. We saw four or five police cars and an ambulance. On closer examination, there were two stretchers, one loaded with a person and another empty one coming. A skinny man was being detained by three police officers.

Later that evening, on our way back, there were police taking crime scene photographs.

And that would make this my first real crime scene.

If you are being lazy and not working and I am working with you, gee shockingly I'm going to be annoyed, if I say something and you ignore it I'm going to say something to the supervisor. If we have received quality complaints from the customer and you are doing GP-12 incorrectly (skipping checks) and I say something and you ignore it I'm going to say something to the supervisor. If when the supervisor comes out to check up on things and he sees you talking when you should be working and he nails you for that, big surprise. And then you go starting rumors that I tattled on you for for talking, you dug your own hole there don't go flinging mud at me because you fucked up.

Well, I have to decline acceptance into Conestoga College. I can't get funding for it. My parents can't do anything to help yet, so I won't be able to go into the program until fall 2009 IF I can get approved for OSAP.

On the up side, I did get some more info on programs I can take and be covered for fully. Just looks like I will have to look at later programs with a private college if i want to get in soon.

I'm sad.
